With the rise in company hacks and network security breaches in the news lately, many professionals are becoming more vigilant about protecting their important passwords and sensitive company information. The most common potential security breach is simply employees leaving sensitive documents on the printer unclaimed. Information such as employee salaries, important legal documents, or confidential medical records could be embarrassing or dangerous in the wrong hands. One disgruntled employee might be all too happy to share this information with the public, and a serious HIPAA violation could lead to hefty fines and damage your company's reputation.
