A couple of weeks ago, I spent part of my Saturday walking the exhibit hall of the world famous Graphics of the Americas show in beautiful Miami Beach.

Graphics of the Americas brings together print industry leaders and the latest and greatest in print technology. This 3 day event gives individuals an opportunity to learn about new technology, solutions, and speak with the industry leaders to explore new opportunities that can help maximize revenue. In addition to speaking with the experts, visitors can also see equipment in live action while networking with fellow attendees.

There are a number of booths that get a spot on the GOA Highlight reel. Ricoh was one of those lucky 5. None of Ricoh’s competitors were on the list.

Ricoh showcased the newest addition to its already impressive production color print line — the Ricoh Pro C7100. Out of the 3 showcased the Pro C7100 has the most added functionality from its predecessors. This devices offers 5 - color printing capabilities! Now a user can add white and/or a clear coat to their print jobs.

One Marketing Director, from our own Miami Gardens, shared that the 5 color option would allow his department to create new types of material that could attract more clients and definitely spread awareness. A few projects specifically he mentioned were custom magnets, window clings, 3-D looking images, and overall more detail.

Not only does the Pro 7100 give you a “clear” advantage over competitors, it also allows you to produce more with fewer delays. This all means more money for you! The device is equipped to handle upwards of 90 pages, offers faster transition between jobs, and used a liquid cooled developer — all designed to handle longer jobs without stopping.
